Tune Up is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall good product The wife bought me a pair for my birthday this spring. As a longtime Stihl fan, I had high expectations for anything that bears the Stihl logo. The protectors do very well dulling out loud sounds from my Stihl weed trimmer, farm boss chainsaw and blower. The only complaint has to do with the electronics, specifically the AM/FM tuner. Despite several attempts AM frequency does not come in; its all static. FM works well but when the switch is turned to AM, static is all that comes in. Tuning has no change and has equal static. I reside in a suburban area near a major US city so reception should not be an issue.I find this strange considering AM frequency is generally easier to tune and receive good reception than FM waves. The wife has since purchased a new set of headphones with AM/FM tuner by another brand for Fathers Day. I am happy to report AM tunes in crystal clear. I recommend Tune Up, just be aware of potential tuning issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pros and Cons I purchased these two days ago. I am the head of maintenance at a local Church. Our campus is 12 acres and we use our zero turn mowers commercially. After reading other reviews, I agree with some. The AM/FM capability is excellent and loud. However another person stated that there is no dedicated MP3 / auxiliary jack channel. If you want to use a phone or mp3 player you have to turn in onto an FM frequency. So it isn't nearly as loud as the AM/FM. It could just be reworked to perfection is all. I can most certainly hear any music on an AM/FM station while using the mowers, and these are loud mowers. Can barely hear when plugged into a phone. All in all I give it a 3/5.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great AM/FM I'm on my 3rd pair now and have found that they are great for AM/FM radio. They are easy to throw on and dial up a station quick when doing various jobs throughout the workday. The first pair I misplaced and the second pair I accidentally ran over with a skid steer. They aren't great to use for MP3/iPod when operating loud equipment, as you can't hear your music. I tend to sweat a lot on hot days while wearing these, but then again that's not a valid complaint, as all ear protection is hot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK while they last Loved them until one side quit working. Apparently I'm not the only one.Much better than the cheaper sets I've purchased. In the summer I use them almost daily. I used them for landscaping, baling hay, heavy equipment, etc.The comfort is great, I liked them because I could wear them most of the day . I wish I knew how to get them repaired because I really liked them. Sadly, my cheap pair is 2 years older and still work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One speaker not working One speaker STOP working, no visible defects on outside, purchased a second pair, newer model, basically the same, NO digital tuning, why would my 1st pair stop working and why isn,t my second pair DIGITAL?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality I've had a pair of these for 5 years now and I've only had to change the batteries once a year (using them for 3 hours at a time 3 times a week on average). Never had any problems with them. Dropped several times (on accident) and they refuse to break. Stihl quality I expected. Can't wait for a rechargeable Bluetooth model to come out in the future. Defiantly worth the extra dollar.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from None I purchased the STIHL® Tune Up - NRR thinking they would be top of the line product i was so disappointed. I have a cheaper pair i bought from Lowe's that is easier to use and better sound and volume. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this product is not worth the cost this product has an am to fm switch but no dedicated mp3 capability. you have to put it on am or fm frequency where there is no radio signal to use the mp3 capabilities. lots of static, bad design, not worth the cost
